Dr. Chen is a Connecticut native and a former East Lyme Viking. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Rochester where he graduated cum laude. He then graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He completed his residency training at the Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he served as chief resident. During his residency, he was a graduate student research award (GRSA) finalist for his study on the “Outcomes of Traumatized Permanent Maxillary Incisors.”
Outside the office, Dr. Chen enjoys spending time with his fiancé Sarah, and his cat named Goose. He loves playing tennis, basketball and going to the gym. At a party, he is the most likely to try to dance and bust a move!
